    hi,
    my Triax Saorview box keeps finding and installing new channels which have rarely anything on them and it places them just after the terrestrial channels and pushes all other channels further down the list,thus, messing up the saved list. Does anyone know how to stop this happening? if i want new channels i can re-scan anytime.

    i have this before.

    what i have done in move them rather than delete them as if you delete them they keep reappaering and with LCN come after the saorview channels and before the sat channels.

    go into menu and use the option to move channels i just move them to before rte1 at 1 and then lock them there using the pin option. I am saying this from memory there they will stay.

    Doing it that way they can come back ....

    Permanent fix is to update firmware from Triax .
    http://www.triax.co.uk/Downloads/Software%20Downloads.aspx
    Back up your channel list before this.
    Load onto USB then update from menu .
    * IMPORTANT *
    BOX WILL GO INTO STANDBY AFTER LOADING SOFTWARE . DON'T REMOVE USB OR TOUCH ANY BUTTONS ON REMOTE OR BOX UNTIL IT RESTARTS . THIS CAN TAKE UP TO 3 MINUTES. IF YIU DO YOU MAY BRICK THE BOX . YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED !
    This update will delete your channel list .
    Reload it ( you did back up didn't you ?)
    You can now delete the blanks and they won't come back . Not ever ...
    :D

    They will come back even if you do the latest software updates, if u unplug the box and plug it back in the blank channels will once again reappear...a rite pain in the backside and about time Triax done more updates for the box
