I need to buy a present for a female work colleague in her forties. Baffled.
    Any ideas?

    Sam McCauleys?

What's your budget? Boots have a load of stocking fillers on their website. You might find something there.

Or you could get a nice mug and put some fluffy socks in it and some chocolate or something like that in it.

What's your budget? A nice scarf always goes down well. Any major store will have a good selection. If it was me, I'd love a silk scarf in one colur, eg red, blue, etc.
There's a few ideas here in all price ranges. If you're unsure of what colour to get, ask the assistant. http://www.marksandspencer.ie/Hats%2C-Gloves-Scarves/IE_SubCategory_13620354468,en_IE,sc.html#?prefn1=productStyle&prefv1=Scarves&format=ajax

I dunno what we are supposed to spend. It's a Kris Kindle thing at work. Maybe €50 or so? I don't really know tbh.

Thanks for the suggestions so far.

You should start a thread about it since you feel so strongly about the issue.

You should probably find out how much. 50 sounds high? Could be embarrassing for her if you spend 50 and the limit was 10!

For €50 you can get lots. What type of lady is she? Approximate age?

Steer clear of toiletories. Find out the budget and let us know. How does she dress? Suit or casual?

I like the idea of a plain coloured scarf - maybe suss out what colour the coat she usually wears is and choose something that would complement that. As it's Kris Kindle I'd also buy something cheap and fun like a pair of Christmassy earrings (if she has pierced ears).
