An electronic gaming device I purchased 4 months ago on ebay has just stopped working despite the fact that I only used it two times and it hasn't been dropped or damaged in anyway.

The seller hasn't responded to my mails and the item is no longer listed in my ebay history.

    Was paid for with Paypal.

Am I still covered by Paypal after 4 months or is there a time limit of 60 days or similar?

I May be wrong but I think they have a new policy now of 180 days ,, but better checking with them to confirm

no they have a cut off, i'm not sure of the exact time frame for this but it's definitely less than 4 months. Had an issue with an iphone after 3/4 months but was not able to raise a dispute.

edit: a quick search on google showed 45 days limit.

they did recently extend it to 180 days but it doesnt apply retrospectively so you are probably out of luck.
