Strong / Weak transponders question

    Hi folks,

just curious about something. I have a Trimax that I use as a hobby and done a few installs for friends. All the transponders are wiped from the unit so I'm going to manually re-install by hand as I've no luck tracking down F/W.

Anyway, just wondering about the most popular sats, Astra 28.2 obviously being top choice. How many transponders is enough for accurate alignment ?

One strong ( for initial lock ) and one weak ( for fine tuning ) ?. If so, what TPs would you suggest ?

Would that be sufficient or would you guys recommend more ?

You will get the frequencies on lyngsat.

    Strongest
    Channel 5/Channel 4

    Medium
    Sky News (IRL)

    Weakest
    Food Network/CBS Channels

I would use Food Network for peaking.

    What Model TM ?
