Anyone else pissed off with the ads on the journal.ie app?

    There's so many pop ups and sliding ads, I've actually reduced my use of it. I'd probably pay for an ad free version.

    It's gone beyond irritating & is affecting the usability of the app.

    Don't use it. They seem to have stopped forcing it upon people, I can use my browser for their articles.

    I don't see any reason why you'd need an app for a site like that. Mobile sites people! (not aimed at you OP, rather all the companies that keep hoisting 'apps' on users because... well because)

    Some apps are great. the guardian downloads and caches itself on your device every morning (via WiFi).

    I'd pay for an anti-Journal app, that blocks it from web, Facebook and Twitter.
