I bought a new liscop super 3000 8 or 9 years ago mainly for clipping horses. We use it and a neighbour borrows it for clipping the cattle backs going into slats. Just need to buy the coarser blades for the cattle.
I had a liscop before this one that was over 20 years old and it never gave any problems, although it eventually died.

i find the liscop a wee bit heavy and fairly shaky after spending a couple of hours clipping. mine seem to heat up a fair bit too. they are just my observations and ive very limited experiences with other brands.
