Pain a week after tooth extraction

    Ive had 2 teeth extracted a week ago and I am still experiencing pain in my upper jaw.
    Should I expect that the pain would be gone by now? Should I make an appointment to see my dentist?

    I went yesterday and she said it was inflamed around the root and she put in a dressing in the root. Tastes disgusting, eased the pain a bit.
    I'm afraid i'll knock it out now. im back next week for 2 more extractions so will have her check it then
