Curious as to whether anyone here has experience of this club management company?

Looking at the individuals, they are a top class group.

They're running Grange Castle and doing a fine job of it imo. A little bit hungry for money but that is to be expected from a management company running a public course.

When you say hungry for money could you give us some examples please - reason I ask is that they are potentially going to be running another club in the Dublin region

???? You basing that on their handicaps or professional experience?

Society golf is heavily sought after, with societies more often than not out in prime time slots on a Saturday (10-12ish) ... with members timeslots either side of the gap. Personally, I don't mind that, they are offering low cost golf at GC and that's one of the drawbacks that you live with imo.

One issue I had was as a pay and play member I called up on a Friday afternoon to cancel my Sat morning slot.
It was first time cancelling and it was unavoidable, someone quite sick in my family. I was told that I couldn't cancel as my tee time was less than 24 hours away. If I didn't show up, I would be charged for the round.
I thought this was way too OTT. I wouldn't mind if they adopted that approach for people they felt were abusing the booking system, and my call was about 22 hours in advance of my tee time.
The time sheet was full and I'm sure someone would have come in to replace me.
As it happened, the course was closed the next day so I wasn't charged. I decided to let it slip as a result but I would have been extremely annoyed having to pay up for that round.

But all in all they are a nice bunch of lads and most members, including myself, are happy with them. They are a company and they need to make money, on the whole they do so with little fuss.
With GC being a public course offering low cost golf, they probably have to be a little more "hungry" for money. I'm sure they would tailor their style to suit the course/members expectations etc.

I have played here quite a bit over the last couple of years as have friends who are members, Synergy took over the maintenance and management of the place this year. Unreal job, course improved dramatically and now they're spending a lot of money by the look of it on improving the clubhouse during the winter. Looking forward to playing in 2015!

I'd echo that, I focused on the negative but they've brought huge positives as above
