Just wondering if anyone is aware of any classroom or distance learning options for a certification in US GAAP. I know CAI were running a diploma course but that doesn't seem to be on anymore.

CAI are very adept at running any number of useless, largely irrelevant and extortionately priced courses which people end up having to do at some stage or other to comply with CPD hours requirements. This would have been of some practicality at least as all US multinationals based here, to the best of my knowledge, still use GAAP and may not, if ever, adopt IFRS.

I came across this online thingy if the OP wants to splash out £1,000 STG on it. I'm not allowed post links but just google "us gaap courses ireland" abd it's at the top of the results page.
