Hi everyone Going to Prague in December, can anyone recommend a nice hotel that won't break the bank! Preferably close to attractions. If anyone has recommendations for nice restaurants and top things to visit too that would be great. Cheers!

I have been staying in this hotel for years, love it, great location. Actually going again this Christmas!

we stayed in http://www.marriott.com/hotels/travel/prger-longin-center-prague-marriott-executive-apartments/ when we were in prague and thought they were fantastic. only a few mins walk from the main square and it was really reasonable. they are apartments so you have your own kitchen which is handy for breakfast and there is a shop on the corner.

prague was my favourite city break, so much to do and see. avoid the cabs (lots of horror stories on travelrepublic) and you'll see so much walking the city. old town was amazing and the castle is definitely worth a visit.

Stayed in Prague Plus. Was crazy cheap, had good bar & food but can't remember distance to city centre. Think it was a decent walk if not a tram journey. The city itself is quite cheap anyway.
