Neighbours fighting and locking each other out. Advice?

My friends who are my naighbours have had a massive fight. Not the first time. Basically she locked him out yesterday evening. She won't let him return to the flat. She is being very hostile. The door is broken from the fighting but she kicks and screams litterally if he trys to talk to her or get his stuff. And she is waiting by the door and didn't go to work just so he can't get in.

Also His name is the only name on the lease but she is the only one who pays the rent. Basically the situation is just getting worse, and going around in circles.

    Should he call the guards?

I think the landlord should be contacted maybe too but he will throw them both out. He's staying with me right now. Its not they're first offence with the landlord. So he's not going to be happy.

I'm caught in the middle and very stressed right now but that's not the priority right now.

Anyway any suggestions on what we should do?

Unfortunately, the OP IS involved. The partner is staying with her!!

I'd just be a listening ear for him. If he is trying to get his gear, I think he should call the Gards to accompany him. Personally, I think they're better off splitting. If he stays? Tell them both you don't want to be placed in this position again - Either they stay together and sort it out, or he finds a hotel for the night!

And yes - I'd be speaking to the landlord, OP. You don't need the aggro.

Does he want to stay with her do you think? Are they capable of talking calmly?
It's a horrible thing to be caught in the middle

Until she calms diwn and talks with him i don't see what else can be done. If he forces his way in it could just make matters a lot worse abd i don't think a lease is worth that.
