    Hi,
Hopefully I can be pointed in the right direction with this?

I have moved into a house recently and all of a sudden I am waking up with a sore throat and stuffed nose. I am trying to figure out if it is something to do with the condition if the room

the house is around 15 years old, the bedroom is north facing with no direct sunlight, 2 walls are exterior walls, and it has a patio door in one of them. When we did move in, the window had to be cleaned and I noticed a bit of mould on the window. I haven't seen it any where else and there is no mould or damp smell. I just find it strange that I am suddenly waking up with this condition and want to rule it out. Is there anything I can get or a company to test the conditions of the room?

You could get a humidity reader and test the humidity levels in the room. If they are too high, get a dehumidifier to remove excess moisture from the air. This will reduce the risk of damp and in turn, mold growth.

    Ventilation
Is there an openable window in the room? Is there a functioning wall vent?
Can you leave your door open to outside at night? Or can internal doors be left open to allow for ventilation from other parts of the house
    Heating
what type? Rad type? What temp is the room at?
    Insulation
what type in the walls/ roof? Is there dry-lining?
    Finishes
Pvc, paint, carpet ? Dust? Any allergies?
