I have an Acer aspire that is a wonderful machine but there seems to be no light or indicator that the Caps Lock or Num Lock buttons are on or off
Very tricky when your doing online banking , passwords etc.
    It's the Aspire E1-572

    Could be worth trying this:

    >>Click on Start
    >>type Keyboard in the search field
    >>double click on the Keyboard options
    >>under the Key Settings tab, go to the Key Settings List
    >>Locate and double click on CAPS LOCK
    >>on the menu you should see where it says "Display CAPS LOCK status on screen"
    >>Click the check mark box, and click Finish

Not on a Windows machine at the moment, but I believe this works....
