How many resource hours?

I am concerned that my son with multiple learning disabilities is not receiving the correct allocation of resources hours. After being diagnosed with DCD and ADHD the school was given 2.5 hours for him. At the beginning of the year he was diagnosed with dyslexia. I'm wondering if the hours should increase since he has been diagnosed with a specific learning disability. Does anyone know where I could find the rules for SENOs governing allocation of resource hours to children with multiple learning disabilities?

Have you spoken to the school about it?
If you call the Dyslexia association they might be able to help you out as well.

There are no extra hours for a diagnosis of Dyslexia. It comes under GAM which is allocated by the Principal of the school depending on the needs of all children in the school.

If your child has dyslexia, they may well be in a group with other children or there may be -in-class support?

A pupil receiving resource hours cannot also receive support under gam. Previous poster is correct no extra hours for Dyslexia.
