You can close your account or, ignore this message and the new policies will come into effect on Jan 29th.

I'm choosing to close my account, as I find they take my money more often than what I used to think they protected me from. (Anytime I find money missing from my account, that I can't account for, it's usually a paypal charge.)
Most sites are safe enough now, and Paypal charges and exchange rates are ridiculous, I very rarely would buy from ebay (The only time I would really use paypal), and if possible, I'll avoid using paypal altogether. If I need a service similar, I'll use Skrill.

    Anyway, I'm out.
Anyone else out, or staying with them? Does anybody still use them (As much)?

Sell? Nope. Only thing I've sold in the last couple of years was an incorrect laptop screen.

I buy quite a lot though.

This bit then i dont understand. I've never had payapl take any money from my account. I cant see any reason why they would. It is the receiver of money who pays the charges not the sender.

Yeah, a few skinfulls last night, I wasn't very clear.
I saw the email last night after the pub (After a heavy wedding weekend), and was just going to post that. But then started to think about paypal. Their charges are too high, and their exchange rate is always way off, in their favour.
I was referring to that mostly. They claim they use the exchange rate from the start of the month, but it is never in the customers favour, so that is bull.
For example, If I am buying something on Ebay, I either pay sterling and pay their high FX commission, or Pay in Euro and suffer their crazy exchange rate. Either way, there is always more money gone from my account than I would've expected had I used a better service.

They tell you the exchange rate upfront before you pay. how can there be more taken than you expected?
