The best way we can honour victims of past wars is to combat global warming by developing more sustainable combat technologies. Drones can be a real winner in stopping the melting of the poles and the rising sea levels.

    Hmmmm.

I'm not sure how this will go down or if I can even form a well thought out reply to this.

Yes, kill enough humans and the planet will heal itself.

The eventual reconstruction of whatever these drones blow up is the biggest cost enviromentally I'd have thought?

I'm lost for a connection here. Drones and the ice caps is bad enough but either as a mark of respect to my 2 uncles who died in WW1 just does not compute.

Or am I feeding one of those that should not be fed?

There's nothing like a Hellfire missile slammed through your roof for lowering your carbon footprint.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, the sea-levels are rising because of the fish population is increasing exponentially.

We have to eat more of them.

How old are you? Mustn't be far off the 100 year mark if your Uncles fought and died in WWI.

I am in my seventies and my mother was born, the youngest of 18, in 1912.

So you're saying that if we nuke the ice caps we'll all live happily ever after?

    Stop it.

Ah, I wouldn't be holding out much hope for that. Sure we're all fecked according to this thread. If I were you, I'd make the best of the remaining couple of months and party till your dodgy hip gives out :D

No joints or any other bits dodgy thank God. Panic not, I've seen many scares like the OP before. All hot air and no trousers, as my mother used to say. Another one was - you have to listen to thunder!

What's the difference between an Afghani Military Base and a Pakistani Elementary School?
I don't know, I just fly the drone
