    Hi
A friend just bought a Walker TV, model number wp4015vnb. He had a magic eye attached to his old TV and it worked perfectly to change Sky channels on the digital box in other room. He connected the magic eye to the new Walker Saorview tv into the coaxial connection. This is the only connection and is recognised on the TV as 'digital cable'. We cannot find which channel or source the Sky feed is on. Any clues?
First time ever google has not given me the answer. Very disappointed.. I did tell him to get another sky box but he doesn't want to.
    Thanking you all in advance.

I cant find a manual for that model on the walker tv ie!! if its very new then it may not have an analogue tuner and that is the case then your stuck. But if you have a coax cable connected from the sky box and do a manual search on the tv with the sky box on sky news then tv will find it. If its a sky sd box and has not been touched the defualt rf channel is 68. If its a sky hd box then you would need to access menu. The idea should be plug tv aerial into sky box and then rf2 out to new tv with magic eye as per normal. The feed will be on the coax. If you say sky box model then I can say how to get to menu etc

I'd say you need to do an analogue search, ie select analogue in the tuning menu.

Why would the OP need to go anywhere near the Sky box menu?

All that is needed is an auto scan for analogue channels on the TV, assuming this is possible with this model. No need to go into the Sky box menu looking for the RF channel no.

Thanks guys. I'll call to him tomorrow and see if we can do an analogue search.

Walker tvs can be tricky when using with rf distribution, sometimes you need to tinker with the settings or you end up with no sound. Easy fix if you know how :-)
