    First headline when you Google it - The Cobbler Is Terrible, Even for an Adam Sandler Movie :pac:

    Getting a critical roasting. To be honest, I've grown very lukewarm towards McCarthy. While his first two films are likeable, in a bland sort of way, I couldn't warm to Win Win at all, which just came across as derivative an "indie" film as could be. Still, definitely wouldn't have expected a disaster from him either - which consensus seems to indicate this is.

    I like McCarthy's films but I'm not sold on that trailer at all.

    If anyone wants to know the full plot (spoilers, obviously).
    It sounds god-awful.

    The entire film is in the trailer looks like the type of rubbish Sandler likes to do every few years like Click, disgustingly sentimental.

    I don't get all the hate for this film. It was fine. Much better than Sandler's recent stuff like Just Go With It , Jack and Jill, and the Grown Ups films. Some of the hate has to be down to general Sandler-hate.

    Some critics equating the shower scene to
    RAPE
    is just ridiculous.
