Tips for telephone interviews?

    Yes, I have been on both sides of that.

    Make sure you are in a room with doors, that doesn't echo and has good signal. Make sure if your in a house or where ever that you tell everyone you are doing an interview.
    If you have a landline in the room disconnect it.
    Maker sure you have some company information handy so you can look through.
    Make sure you have water handy.
    Make sure you are sitting correctly and not out of breath or at odd angles.
    Make sure you phone has good battery

    Other than that, treat it like a proper face to face interview. They usually only last 5-10 mins and are a way for the interviewer to speak to you and see if your worth calling to meet in person.

    Well, it went fine. Until the spanner in the works emerged. The job is a three hour drive away in Somerset - not London. Hmmmm - ah well.
