    Hi all,

Out in Australia for a few weeks and notice the 16 gig iPhone 6 is nearly 100 euro cheaper than at home.

Would it be ok to buy this out here and use it back in Ireland ?

It'll should be fine to use at home
I've an iPhone 5s, on contract in australia, Was back home last year and used it with my meteor sim no problem.

Before that my 4s worked fine also.

Don't forget you can claim back the tax on it on your way home at the airport!

Technically I think you are suppose to pay duty on it when you bring it in (the reason why you get the duty on it back in Oz)

But once it's out of the box, and it's obviously new/unused then you'll be grand.

Should be fine, the Oz customs won't care that you're taking it out, and if it's just in your pocket or whatever irish customs won't ask any questions.
