Planning on getting this for my soon to be 5 yr old for Christmas.

She can use a balance bike and this will be her first bike. The single speed appeals to me for simplicity.

Does anyone who has one of these have an opin ion on how long it will last the average 5 yr old as height wise she would be at the lower 3rd of the next bike up......which has gears

    Thanks

My 7 y/o has the seatpost maxed out and isn't tall, but 9 y/o still uses it in the skatepark.

    It's an awesome bike.

Bought that bike for my 5 year old back in august... Within a week my 3 year old was cycling it too so I got the 5 year old the Beinn 20... It fits him much better and would be my choice if I were u.
He is 112cm tall(measured him yesterday!!)

I moved my rather small 5yr old from conc 14 to Benin 20 small during the summer. Like Marty I would recommend the Benin if you want to avoid a costly upgrade in the near future.
