    Do I have a legal entitlement to ask for a job description? I took up a new role approx 1 year ago but never was given a job description

    You can ask for one but it will never 100% describe every activity you might be requested to do. It will nearly always include "other tasks as approriate".

    If you are looking to refuse to do a certain task I would ensure you are more than 1 year in the role.
