Inisboffin residents unable to walk 400m, according to Connemara TD

A Galway West TD says the lack of a shuttle bus service in the contract for the Inishbofin passenger ferry is a major oversight.

Fianna Fáil deputy Eamon O’Cuiv says a shuttle bus is essential to carry passengers from a proposed new car park for Cleggan to the ferry berth.

Or what about an airstrip, seeing they already have one on the island ?
I wonder how a Co Council run car park in Cleggan will go down with the locals who have a right little money spinner there charging visitors €3 per day for parking in their back gardens ?
