    Hi guys

Over the past few weeks i have been thinking of trying to buy and get every single n gage game that there was along with a n gage.

The only problem that is stoping me from buying is the high post costs from Ebay of nearly 5 pound a game to post is making me think twice as must games don't cost that.

As i have also looked on amazon and they where looking for 12 pounds per game to post witch is even crazier then eBay

Where else would be a good place to pick up games for it ?.

Try and find a seller that is selling a lot of games, try and combine postage?

Ngage fan myself, still use it from time to time, the qd, not the 'taco' version.

try using parcel motel if there is free uk shipping, I notice one of the sellers on ebay who has alot of ngage games listed does free uk shipping, so that could work out at only 3.50 if you buy a good lot from him. or just message the ebay sellers and ask them the combined rate, I'd find it very strange for a seller not to combine the shipping cost and its usually lised in the postage tab on the auction

I think that might be the plan to use parcel motel going to drop a mail to one of the sellers there and see will he reduce the post cost for me

    Thanks guys for the help.

Just forgot to say users ago in xtra vision in Dungarvan they had about 40 n gage games and where selling them for like 2 euros each and far sorry never bought them back then !!!!

I wonder if they would have become a thing had the first one been as good as the QD when it came out? I remember a friends one being pretty impressive at the time.

Oh no, such an awful machine!
I have one and it's just a repackaged Symbian smart phone, I have one of those as well.
I never enjoyed a game I played on it, barring Sonic.

There was a FPS game on it called Ashens I think, nothing to do with a guy filming cheap **** on his couch though. I'd say it's terrible going back to it now. Apparently there's a very rare late release for it by Sega that's a sequel to the Dragon Force games.

They didn't do themselves a lot of favours with the sidetalking memes it spawned but I was playing Snake on a 3210 when a guy was showing me his, it was definitely impressive for a phone at that time, dont think it was too ridiculously priced either.

I do recall there was a jack-ton of hype, considering Nokia's place as the brand at the time, but only lasted 'til the first lad on the yard got one.

Like i know myself back in 2003 the adds where everyone for it on TV in shops newspapers, everywhere !!!. Like i wonted to get one back then but i was only 11 years old at the time and never had the money to buy the thing as if i remember they where €300 euros with a game with vodafone like witch in todays money is fairly cheap as i paid more for my vita when it came out back in 2012.

Like they might be shocking bad but its one thing i never got to have as a child and dam it i am going to relive my childhood even if its crap :P

I had the 7650 and 6630 as well as both models of Ngage, to err is human but to err four times?

I think one of the most interesting things about the NGage is the fact that it has a vertical screen.

How many consoles have vertical screens? The only other one I can think off the top of my head is the Vectrex (and that was to mimic arcade games at the time)

I know it's because it's a phone and that's the way phone screens are, but still a little odd for a games console. Would have been nice for vertical shmups!

This topic's been done to death on here! It was a great idea for it's time, and was hugely enjoyable to play games and emu's on. Ashens at the time was a decent fps on it, probably not as much now, like a fair few old games.
The first time I played Tomb Raider was on the ngage, and even with the small screen the first time that trex came out of the shadows i nearly fell off the couch!
Plus being able to have 32 mb mmc cards packed with gameboy, nes master system and megadrive games handy, happy out

The Wonderswan had a screen that was specifically designed with both horizontal and vertical play in mind.

And, indeed, so dark that it boggles the mind how they anticipated anyone ever playing the thing. Well, aside from the Crystal, which worked.

Yet it was more popular than the Xbox brand in Japan.
But then cold sores are more popular than the Xbox brand in Japan....
The Crystal is lovely, I have one.
The Color required you to sit on Mercury at midday to see the screen properly.

The original xbox is bigger than the average Japanese home.

I still have the original one (but my brother messed around with it and it has never recovered from the virus!), had the Sims game for it and thought it was brilliant!

Snakes 3D was a brilliant game on the ngage.

I have a qd version but think that it's broken now.

Ah, the white screen of death, game over ngage. No recovery afaik. Was very common that you could be near maxing out your memory on your ngage without realising, and someone could send you something over bluetooth sending it over the limit and kiling your phone.

I have the sims package qd, still boxed!

Just plugged it in there and it is charging okay, problem comes when I put a memory card in, doesn't read anything or realise there is a card inserted. Will have a poke around with it later on.
