Are parts for the Hyundai Tucson and Kia sportage interchangable?

I've read they are basically the same vehicle from "sister companys".

just be sure you are buying from a car with the same drivetrain, as the tucson came with 2wd and 4wd options.

the hyundai and kia part numbers are the same too, so this is a handy means of checking in some cases.
