    I am applying for UK visa which needs passport photo. Anyone knows where can I take passport photo near UCD?

    You can get passport photos in the pharmacy in the new student centre im pretty sure :)

    Isn't there a passport photo booth near the UCARD office (near the entrance of the James Joyce library?)

    UCD Student Centre there is one machine in the entrance to Astra hall, charge 6eu for 4 photos.

    I recommend the pharmacy in the Student Centre. Better chance of a good photo than those machines, in my experience :P

    I agree - if you're getting photos done for a passport, it's better to go to a 'human' rather than a machine as the photos need to be very specific.
