As an FYI, Swedish->English is due on https://www.duolingo.com/ this Monday.
I've signed on and used the Irish->English version as an app so hopefully it shall be as good.

I love the Duolingo app :D
I use it for Irish and my man uses it for Swedish.

The sentences are quite advanced towards the end and one thing I did overhear as he was practicing it was a funny mispronunciation.

"Alla måste betala s katt" :pac:

The pause between s and k in the word "skatt" made it sound like "cat" instead of "tax". Aside from that, I think the pronunciation is pretty good in general :):)

Good to know not the only user. I think that some of the Duolingo voices are machine based, so that might explain the pronunciation. Myself, looking forward to the Norwegian course which is at 100% incubation so due fairly soon (I can then understand the Norse/Swedish jokes)

2Once there came a customer into a store and asked, "Kan jag få två smørgåssar?" (May I have two sandwiches). The store-clerk then asked, "Are you Swedish?" whereupon the customer said (in Norwegian), " er det fordi jag sa 'smørgåssar' de skjønnte at jag var svensk?" (is it because I said 'smørgåssar' (Swedish for sandwiches) that you thought I was Swedish). The clerk made a cunning smirk, "No, it's because you're in a hardware store."
