Correct, still 3.95, but 4.50 free credit when topping up account by €35 plus

Strange figure they chose? More than the cost of one stay but the balance is of little significance. Unless of course they plan to hike the stay price to €4.50

Yeah I agree, and I wouldn't be surprised if they do jack it up. I have rarely used it since they raised it to €3.95, gougers

Actually it's the perfect figure they chose.

    €35 + €4.50= €39.50 which equals 10 stays.

I presume that's their twisted logic

Well if that was their reasoning then that's fair enough :)

If they increase it beyond €3.95 I will be using Parcel Connect instead and I received alot of Parcels via Parcel Motel in the last year but will not tolerate such price gouging they can go to hell if they think they can get away with that sort of carryon.

At €3.95 it's definitely not as worthwhile, good if someone literally won't deliver to ireland but now I've been getting parcels sent straight to me this year as sometimes there might only be 50c in the difference and for the hassle of going to get it etc.

€4.50 would be a non runner

They removed the parcel motel from athy and replaced with an "instore service" which is brutal, waiting on a parcel that is "in transit" since friday now, because the garage closes at 11 they dont deliver during the night anymore.

The beauty of the Parcel motel lockers is that you don't have to wait.....hope they don't try an instore service elsewhere.

PM seem to be good communication wise, I'd say its worth dropping their CS team a mail with your feedback. Keep them moving in the right direction.

€4.50 which sort of makes his point a bit invalid.

Well if Parcel Motel increases their charges anymore I will just use Parcel Connect on a point of principle.

Thurles is gone the same. Absolute nightmare. Why are they doing this? I could collect the package any time of the day or night. That was the advantage.

Guess perhaps the leasing of the lockers and payment for the co-location was too high compared with the amount of use (parcels being stored).

I didn't know about parcelconnect.ie being able to send to a location for pickup. The extra 55c is worth it for me as there are many more locations available... My only concern is that they just seem to hold the parcel behind the counter. I sent a package by GLS Shop and they just placed it behind the til, where anyone could have taken it if they so desired.

Anyone know if this still works?

I use the dpdparcel wizard, and find it better
As they deliver to my work place, so it might be an alternative

I think you'll find that's not what he asked.

I used it a couple of months ago and it worked fine. Not sure if they're still doing the same

It's been working every time I've topped up since the promo started. Last time was nine days ago.
