Illness Benefit help

Injured myself and will be out of work for at least the next 4 weeks.

I started work August 2013 in my current position. I was also ill at the start of this year (Mrach) and denied Illness Benefit as I did not have enough stamps they said. I dont think I will qualify again.

I really cant afford the next 4 weeks out of work, coming to Christmas etc, but they wont let me return until the doctor says I can.

What are my options her for benefits? Can any body help?

Was it a workplace injury? If so, you may be entitled to claim injury benefit as opposed to illness benefit.

No it wasn't a workplace injury. It was at home.
