Mac thunderbolt to hdmi adapter

    I have a 2013 MacBook Air with the thunderbolt connection. I want to get one of them hdmi to thunderbolt adapter. Which is the best one to get online ? Obviously I want to get one as cheap as possible but I don't what to get one that's useless either. You can get display port to hdmi is that the same as thunderbolt?
