    I can't comment on screens, since that was never a deciding factor for me.

    I bought a laptop from pcspecialist over a year ago. Only issues I had, was it took much longer to build than I was told.(partly because I bought it when Haswell came out and there was a backlog XD.)
    Also an issue where the wifi card doesn't start up after "sleep". Because of this, I never put the laptop on sleep. It's a common enough problem, not isolated to pcspecialist, and I haven't yet been able to solve it.

    They have decent customer service, they will charge you to post a laptop back on warranty.(you can argue about this.)

    That's the cons, I love everything about my laptop and I'd advise pc specialist any day.

    Have you tried contacting them about the screen?
    They are open to adding other specs,in some cases, that aren't listed.
