    Hey there,

Was looking to get a decent AV receiver and 5.1 setup to match the w1070 i bought from ye a few months back and was hoping for some suggestions etc.

Id like to get 5-6 HDMI inputs (ideally 6 atleast) and 2 outputs(must have atleast 2), this brought me to looking at the Harmon Kardon AVR171 that yous have.

For speakers i was looking for floorstanding for the front 2 and this bought me to the monitor audio MR4's or the cambridge audio s70's or something else you might have in mind??

Ideally id like to keep it below 1000euro and was also wondering if with the harmon kardon amp if the 2:1 (speaker:amp) price ratio is a good rule of thumb to go with.

lastly the amp must have 3D passthrough for my 3d bluray, 4k passthrough(not necessarily 4k upscaling) would also be a nice benefit.

Taking all this into account I was wondering if there is any deal/bundle you could put together for me including shipping to South Dublin.

    thanks,

    benji

    Hi Benji.

Thanks for getting in touch and apologies about the delay in getting back.

The MR4 speakers would be the ones to go for for your fronts over the S70's.
The Mr4 product abetter base response and just have a nice sound to them.
We have these in stock and ready to ship :)

Unfortunately the AVR171 is now finished but we do still have one here left in Belfast (Ex-Display) in 100% condition. Priced at the £249.95.
The Harmon will run the MR speakers with no problems at all and would allow you to add more in the future if you would wish to do.

I could offer free shipping to help lighten the price a little.

I see you have a bundle with an amp and speakers here
    http://www.richersounds.com/package/system-savers/home-cinema-separates-bundle-deals/pah011826

I was wondering if you could come close to that price with another possible bundle using a 150 less amp and a 150 more set of speakers?

    Hi Benji.

The 830 Yamaha is now finished with no more stock available unfortunately. This is at such a good price as it is the clearance price for ex repair, ex demo units.

It has been replaced by the 840 which is coming in at £899
    http://www.richersounds.com/product/av-receivers/yamaha/rxa840/yama-rxa840-blk

The MR4 5.1 pack is coming in at £799.00 so adding on an amp is unfortunately going to push the budget up to around £1000 +

With the AVR171 and MR4 5.1 the price would be coming in around £948.95 / 1248.99 Euro

For the RXV677 and the MR4 pack I could offer at £1198.95 / 1575.00 Euro.

If you didn't mind moving away from floorstanders then the RSXV677 + Monitor Audio Mass 5.1 would be something to look at priced at £799.00 / 1050.00 Euro
    http://www.richersounds.com/package/system-savers/home-cinema-separates-bundle-deals/pah011827

Let me know what you think.

is there a possibility of this deal with perhaps the rxv477 instead of the higher 677?
