Gas Boiler Problem

    Hi

The issue is with a Lamborghini Xilo T boiler. It was working fine only yesterday, but has now decided to take the night off. Everything sounds normal during the start-up sequence except that the pilot light fails to ignite. Upon failure the "Lookout Warning Light" then shows as a constant red.

Tried several resets (as suggested by the manual) but to no avail. The boiler was last serviced 2 years ago.

    1) Does anyone have any experience of these Xilo T boilers, and who could shed some light on the problem?
    2) Can anyone recommend a registered RGI plumber that could rectify this problem (Dublin based) at competitive rates?

    Thanks

in the very same boat as yourself. Did you solve it?

I could really be a number of issues until an RGI looks under the bonnet (so to speak) as several items may cause the same fault.
Within 2 years, it could be a few minor components require cleaning, or it could be items such as APS, gas valves and PCBs that are gone faulty.

Impossible to tell from the information above.

Where in Dublin (you may get better response if you mention your area)

I had it looked at today. It's the valve. I've sent out a few emails to various suppliers looking for a SIT 837 Tandem Gas Valve.

Is this diagnosis a guess or a confident reassuring diagnosis
As in working pressures checked at gas meter, at appliance, voltage checked
Just have seen it so many times where some plumbers say gas valve but it ends up being injectors or coils,, different makes and models of course
Just ask the question OP as a sit tandem sitting down overnight although not impossible can be uncommon
Just a bit of advice on covering all angles.
