Hey there, not sure if this is the right forum but anyways.... got my parts from Hardwareversand this morning and put it together... when I powered her up, the fans started whizzing but I'm not getting any display.... tried multiple monitors, powering on with only 1 ram, without the gpu all to no avail.. It's an As Rock B85 Anniversary Mobo and a i5- 4460.... Any ideas

Double check all connections. Not just Gpu.

Did you install the motherboard standoffs? - Can be a common mistake if you haven't built before.

    Post code led or beeps?

Cpu fan on the cpu header?

    CMOS clear?

Not using the wrong hdmi port?

Standoffs are installed, tried all different combos of Ram/slots, reset cmos.. don't have a speaker on chassis, tried buying one but PC World and Maplin had no idea what I was talkin about.. still stumped..

Speaker normally comes with the motherboard, check the box?

Theres a header for it alright, middle of the bottom of the board. No mention of speaker on accessories list but it wont always be there.

    ftp://europe.asrock.com/manual/B85 Anniversary.pdf

    12-201-032-TS?$S300W$

Usually would be one of em in the box somewhere.

No mention of post codes in the manual. GJ Asrock.

Checked boxes of both mobo and case.. no sign of a speaker... Just tried again with everything disconnected apart from cpu, cpu fan, chassis fan, ram and the two sets of mobo power supplies... reset the cmos and still nothing..
