Galway Hooker "Dark" Lager

    Anyone seen this?
For some reason they've called their new amber lager a "dark" lager.
I know one could argue that it's dark for a lager but surely to most beer drinkers "dark" would suggest a brown or black beer?
They even describe it as an amber lager on the back label.

It's pretty nice - reminiscent of an alt - but such a misleading title. No?

Maybe they're trying to coin a "type" of beer?
Try get others to make under this nomenclature to help create some recognition etc.?
