    It needs a retune

    Details are DVB S2 11068.00 V 23000 2/3 8PSK

    In case anyone missed it you can ( since a couple of months back ) get ITV 2/3/4 now also in HD. Here are the tuning frequencies:

    11.758
    H
    29.5
    3/4
    DVB-S2
    QPSK

    No, only UTV HD, ITV HD & STV HD are FTA. ITV 2,3 & 4 HD are not. They are receivable on Sky due to a glitch that currently allows them to be viewed with an Irish viewing card.

    I presume you also need the HD pack as they are not viewable in my other channels.

    using freesat I tried the UTV HD frequency without luck. Not that it's a big deal for me ITV HD is my default.

    Make sure you are using 11068 V, DVB-S2, 23000, 2/3. This is a relatively unusual setting, 22000 is far more common.
    You may also see them listed as
    20810 = UTV HD
    20800 = STV HD

    Never on the Irish epg but available to tune via other channels since it launched in June. I am a fan of it and watch a lot of the dramas they show.

    I know this sounds stupid but just in case, you have your sky box connected with hdmi cable not scart right?

    I need an active sub to get UTV HD? Is that actually the case? Dose if so.

    Also I thought that by removing the sky card the hd box reverted to uk settings? Does this not work anymore?

    UTV HD is FTA and requires no sub.
