I need to leave my car overnight this weekend in Portlaoise as I'm meeting someone half way to travel on then in one car.

Is there anywhere safe and free I could leave my car for the two nights?

    Thanks

Been a while but I'd think the Hotel Carpark at Midway just off the motorway would be safe enough. Doubt they check if you're a resident as there's a food court there too.

yeah plus one on the midway. plenty of room in that car park and it's a bit outside the main town area so would be pretty safe.

god, I never thought I'd see portlaoise mentioned in the travel section. apt that... but then I suppose it's only the safest way of getting in and out you're after!

Thanks. That's where I was thinking of, the person I'm meeting is driving from Dublin that there would be really handy.

I was just worried about not being a resident but I doubt they'll go checking that.

    Thanks again
