    On the First one, blue avensis. Nct out since 3rd August this year. 3 owners.

    Second one, passat 1.6" nct till may next year, 4 owners

    Primera, I wouldn't bother tbh.

    Other passat. Yes maybe,

    i myself think the passat is too dear but my folks have one , never a problem

    It'd be between the avensis and the second passat for me,
    I wouldn't buy a car with an OY reg myself though!

    At that price level, not much point in buying from a dealer.


    Wouldn't ring alarm bells, but you'd think they would have tested it.

    was thinkin that . i may phone and ask why no test . thanks for the advice ! i hadnt actually purposely went to buy from a main dealer , just happened .

    Tey can just tell you they couldn't get an appointment,

    I wouldn't settle for a guarantee that they'd put it through the test in a few months or whatever.

    Very little value in buying a car of that age or price range from a dealer as the profit margin is not big so the dealer is unlikely to spend much on fixing any issues. Better off buying private.
