Quitting a FAS course - entitlements?

Asking on behalf of a parent that has recently commenced a FAS course. This is their first week and they absolutely hate it. Lost job in July after 11 years, qualifed for JSB for a period of 9 months at €147.20. Took up the FAS course voluntarily. If they quit will they be suspended for 9 weeks? Thank you.

There shouldnt be any disqualification period as he commence the course voluntarily and not through the activation process.
