I have the latest humax set top box I am getting new presses soon and I wonder if I put the box in behind a shelf I can connect the hmdi cable no prob but I wondered can you get like a remote eye that I could plug into the humax box and place beside the TV so I could use the remote if the press blocked the remote signal direct to box thks

Similar query in this thread. HDMI IR injectors suggested, have no experience of them myself.

I recently purchased a Neet IR Injector kit from Amazon for use with Humax box (connected by HDMI to a TV in a different room). Very simple to install. Works very well, no extra power supply required.

Be careful mounting anything in behind a press as a stb with a hard drive needs airflow to keep cool.
