ShoTime went directly to Bob Arum offered $40m base with Pacquiao taking 65% split. Arum turned down immediately and refused to negotiate further.

Steve Espinoza Twitter "Stop. Offered him $40M plus big upside and he passed. He doesn't want it."

Is there any source aside from Stephen Espinoza? The guy lives in Al Haymon's pocket.

But in any case, to echo walshb, who gives a shit anymore?

The reason I think it's bull is it seems far too generous. Mayweather was only willing to offer 40 million dollars and no rights last time around. After Manny's few loses, he's hardly going to come out with more this time around.

If any of this story was true, Mayweathers team would have melted all social media by now :)

Personally dont believe Arum is a problem in this anymore. Maybe 3-4 years ago he didn't want his cash cow to have its bubble burst, but at this stage he doesn't have alot to lose in terms of Manny suffering a loss.

But yeah, who gives a f*ck
