    Hi,

When creating a new accessible wc in compliance with TGD Part M 2010 in an existing commerical building:

    1. can an existing toilet bowl be used to form part of the new wc layout for the disabled? Does adding an adjustable toilet seat to the existing toilet comply with current building regs?

    2. or is a new special toilet bowl needed?

    Thanks

If the WC is to comply with Part M, then all parts of the toilet must comply.
In other words, you cant half do compliance IMHO.
