Philip Deignan is going to be in Cycleways today from 2pm today launching Frogs kids bikes. He's doing a Q&A as well AFAIK. Details are on the Cycelways FB page.

He's doing a short group spin on Saturday morning in letterkenny at 10am from the theatre. He'll also be answering questions and signing autographs/jerseys etc.

Saw a fella in Celbridge yesterday, cycling a Pinarello in full Sky gear. I was laughing at his commitment to looking the part when I twigged it was actually Deignan himself.

Went in and met the man as I had a few relevant questions for an aul college project Im doing plus a good excuse to talk to a pro. Very nice fella by all accounts. Very quiet in there. I told him all the boards cyclists said hello and I gave him a hug as I was leaving. Cue strange/awkward look on face. :D

Anybody know if he's venturing down the south of the country for any signings or anything? Have a Roche signed Rapha Sky T-Shirt that'd I'd love to get Deignan to scribble on as well.

Considering I said south I'm not sure you have the map the right way around.
I'll rephrase for those whose knowledge of the country is limited to Leinster...anybody know of Deignan doing any signings in Munster?

In fairness, the south of the country, is every single county in The republic where I'm from.

Anyway, getting back to the topic! A crowd of us here in Letterkenny were lucky enough to join Phillip Diegnan and Lizzy Armistead on a spin around the area this afternoon. There was also an interview session with some Q & As beforehand. The two of them are so down to earth and spent loads of time chatting and standing for photos afterwards. We had sunshine and blue skies. What a magical day.
