Changing Language Of Notifications In Android

Hi, I reset a Chinese (Jiayu G4) phone to factory and the language is set to English in Settings but things like notifications (USB connected, USB debugging enabled etc.), calendar app in Chinese. Any ideas on how I can get this to English? Thanks, super_freddie.
