Civic EK driver door wont open from outside

Hey guys, the driver door on my Civic EK is just after breaking or the latch is not connected. It will open and lock from the inside, just the handle isnt working. Has this happened to anyone else and is it an easy fix or a garage job? Hoping for the former :( Any help appreciated!
