Family coming up from Tipperary and wanted to book somewhere for a nice sunday lunch about 45 minutes from Dublin.

Any suggestions? Group of 9 adults and 7 kids (between 4 & 9)

Moved from Food & Drink as the locals can better advise you (as per the prominent sticky in F&D).

    In terms of M7:

Harte's bar in Kildare has nice food - http://www.hartesbar.ie/

Silken Thomas is there also but probably more a carvery on the Sunday.

The Heritage in Killenard might be an option - http://www.theheritage.com/

Hartes in Kildare Town is good or Keadeen Hotel just off the Newbridge exit.

Further along you have Johnstown Inn just after Naas.

TBH, either Hartes or the Dew Drop
