EV Energy consumption at different speeds

    Just wondering what the consumption difference is at different speeds.
    Say with the Leaf or Zoe.

    How is it quantified? km/KWh?

    Say at 120, 100, 80 & 60km/h

    I'd like an idea of how much less is used at slower speeds.
    Of course there's not hard figures, just interested in a generalisation.

    You would want to take into account the various driving modes plus the terrain your driving on .. also temperature :)

    Zoe has Direct Consumption readout in Kw as you drive along, already posted I believe/

    There's some graphs here; http://www.mynissanleaf.com/viewtopic.php?p=101293 That show energy usage and range at different speeds for the Leaf

    And apps for both iOS and Android;

    Thats great!

    Interestingly that there is more to gain dropping from 81 to 64km/hr than dropping from 105 to 81, though I assume less to gain in winter due to more time with heater on.

    Anything similar for other EV cars?

    The current consumption is as useless on an EV just add it's useless on an ice.

    What's more important is what you average per change or power tank in an ice.

    If you have to reduce your specs to 60-80 kph is say that's just makes unless conditions call for those speeds.
