    Has anyone opened direct investing account with Rabo? Trades starting at €100, seems good for people starting out?

    It's pretty poor. They will take 0.75% of your 100 meaning that you only invest 99.25.

    Let's say you invest the 99.25 and the portfolio makes 8%, which it should. That now means you have 107.19 in your account.

    However, the fund manager can take 2% in fees a year meaning you now have 105.05 in you account.

    But wait there's more. Rabo will then take another 0.75% of what you have in there when you withdraw the cash, so you really have 104.25 which is nearly half the gains of the portfolio.

    Maybe look at some other brokers online or high street and see what they offer. Taking a 50% cut on gains is A LOT!!
