Rescue Chopper over Castlebar

    Just spotted rescue chopper heading North out of Castlebar, i.e back to Sligo. Time 22:50..
    Anyone know the call out.

    Marine traffic website suggests they have been out about 30km west of Clifden and may have landed at the hospital in Castlebar on the way back, so I presume they collected an injured or ill fisherman and brought him to hospital.

    Yep , it was Rescue 118 (EI-ICG) departing back to its base in Sligo after been at Castlebar hospital following an airlift from a boat off the west coast.
