My 2008 Octavia Combi, the rear door lock has started to give trouble. It deadlocks and won't open. This is an intermittent problem. Main dealer said have to replace the door lock. Went to my local mechanic, he checked the wiring, it is ok. He told me I have three options - take out the lock, oil it and put it back in, buy…

Anyone know if this is a known fault in octavia?
